I feel like crap. I'm remembering annoying things one after another, and to make it worse, my mind has a habit of making my thoughts recursive. So it's like saying
while(1) { annoyJon(); }
haha programming. For you people who don't know, when you say while(1), you mean while(TRUE), do this. So TRUE will always be evaluated as TRUE, meaning it won't stop. Ahh what a stupid thing to say. I'll probably get flamed for this.
There's nothing much for me to write. I'm off to finish math. Goodnight.

Today while playing tennis with my friends, my friend Jessica stepped the wrong way and tore ligaments in her leg. I accompanied her to Thornton Hospital, which is like 2 miles from UCSD. First time ever for me in an ambulance.
On a lighter note, kettle corn is awesome stuff. First time ever for that too.
And I'm updating cause I haven't been. And I feel like eating sushi. With good company. Like, soon. Yeah. ANYONE CATCH MY DRIFT??

Today while playing tennis, I stepped on my bag that had tennis ball cannisters and a water bottle the same way I stepped on my skateboard a few weeks ago. On the same ankle.
To be safe, I'm waiting until next summer to play again. Arrghh!! This is so disappointing. All my plans to go to RIMAC during Welcome Week just went down the toilet. Sorry about this weekend too Oliver; if I'm able to at least walk by Sunday....well, we'll see.
I can't sleep. Maybe cause of the Motrin. I'll try playing FFIV.

I jogged 2 laps around my block, then cooled down walking one lap. And I thought why not; let's go to SOH.
It seems that MVH uses our courts for tennis practice. I finally got pissed at the fact that the ball and my racket's sweet spot aren't connecting very well; I ended up asking one of the girls who stayed behind after their coach left how to perform basic groundstrokes. I believe her name was Felicia.
Felicia: "Okkk. Heere!"
*miss
Felicia: *sigh
I think she got frustrated, seeing as how I missed most of the light serves she gave me. But I did get something out of it:
1)When the ball gets near, line it up with your free hand to increase accuracy. Tried it afterward; works and is made of win.
2)Never stay in one spot and expect the ball to just come back to you, Tezuka-status. Keep your legs bent and follow the ball so you can hit at a proper angle. Also makes sense; your legs become springs if they're bent.
Final Fantasy XII comes out Halloween Day; hearing lotsa good reviews about it, especially the SEMI-return of.....the Materia System! The last great FF on the PS2; I'll try it out.

Got haircut today and bought a pair of espresso-color Vans slip-ons. Had Jamba Juice too. When I got home, my mom asked me to open the blinds at the kitchen sink window.
*zzzziiiiip!!!!
And it's funny, cause not too long ago, my dad told me: "You're not good at handiwork."
And right after he said that, I replaced the entire stringing on the blinds myself. Owned.
*to my dad: "Not good at handiwork my ass." He laughed.
And I got to jog too. Time for dinner.

Tennis again at the backboards at SOH. You lose Oliver.
I finished Fruits Basket last night; it's an alright series with an alright ending.
Work was meh, cause (Labor Day holiday + tent sale) - hueg number of baggers = fail and lose. I couldn't make any money; the registers were packed with my coworkers. I went home at 4:30.
Tiem for dinner.

I've been playing Lunar 2: Eternal Blue a lot lately. Not as good as the first adventure, but still good nonetheless.
My ankle is still healing; I can pretty much do everything except run and stretch my ankle muscles too much.
Today, after having breakfast at Aunt Emma's with my family, the day rapidly fell downhill. We went to the Labor Day tent sale behind 32nd St. NEX; even though I was able to buy a pair of aasics, the sale pulled a /Comic-Con; hot, ridiculously crowded, and the line to the registers was hueg. Afterward, I got dragged to Balboa Hospital for like 2 hours doing nothing, for I had nothing to keep me busy; gameboy, cell and iPod all out of batteries; fail. And just as we were leaving,
"oh wait, the medicine!"
After another hour, we went downtown, because my dad had to do some paperwork. more waiting. then Zion marketplace, then 99 Ranch. It's practically 6 and my day has been spent being dragged around SD.
But after getting home around 7, finally, finally, I took my bike to SOH and put the backboards to good use. I wish I had some proof for OLIVER, who has been believing that I wouldn't play tennis at all before the summer ended (and since you never said doubles, singles, or just plain practice, I win and you fail it. Soviet Russia and the UAE do not love you).
I pretty much suck as it stands lol. I don't think I did anything right, which is justified by the fact that my index and middle fingers feel funny as I type this hahaha. All in all, I just smacked the ball around, and learned the power of the drop shot.
Sooo....good ending for a made-of-fail day. Time for either Fruits Basket or more Lunar 2. Or maybe drawing.
Stay safe from mosquitoes people. They are made of fail and lose.

i went to Mitsuwa today hoping to get some ramen; bad news people who don't know - Takara has been shut down, along with that travel agency adjacent to it. So yeah. it's gone, and you cant go there anymore.
Zion Marketplace is like 2 blocks away from Mitsuwa. I tried their udon for consolation; it fails. Udon is not supposed to be that sweet; more failure.
Nothing else of interest today, other than getting my books for Fall quarter.
Time for Fruits Basket.

I'm back in my house after its 3-day termite fumigation; everything feels kinda icky imo cause of the gas lol
I'm sorry I wasn't able to hang out much this summer, with summer school, work, my own stupidity and/or inability to ride moving objects, and this recent thing with my house. For those of you going back to Berkeley and your respective college/university, good luck and have as good a time as possible with this new school year.
I think it was on Saturday? Went with Oliver, Annalee and Jasmin to eat at Hanaoka, then to Oliver's house to play Parappa. hatatatatatatatatata
I went to Jasmin's house yesterday and karaoke'd with Mary Rose, Kris, Sam, Edward and Jasmin. Sorry I couldn't stay long guys =\
I hope I'll be able to work/play tennis or anything that requires lots of movement before this summer ends cause of this ankle. fail
I'm kind of excited to go back to school; I want revenge from last year, not to mention T1.
Ends.
*The US Open will be held from Aug 28 - Sept 10. It is Andre Agassi's last US Open.

Woo Parasite Eve is a good game. Kinda nostalgic too; old FFVIII-style graphics; seeing the Squaresoft logo is just awesome. Yea, I know I started late, considering this game came out in 1998, but whatevers. Wasted all the Revives I had cause stupid Eve's goin round making animals into super-monsters that take like 40 HP in dmg; now I gotta save Ben from the vicious police dog Sheeva.
The last cool thing was the whole lecture you get about cells and mitochondria - mem'ries of 9th grade in Mr. Weikel's. I wonder if Ralph is still there.
EDIT Oh yeah our house is getting fumigated tomorrow; don't go near it, cause Vikane gas is lethal.

My mom brought me two double cheeseburgers and a medium fries from McDonald's this afternoon. Right after I finished them, she forced me to eat a bowl of chocolate fudge ice cream cause we need to vacate the fridge and freezer before the house gets fumigated.
Call me crazy but, that was nasty lol.
I finally started drawing more. Once this ankle heals, I'm heading over to SOH to give tennis a try before I go back to UCSD. Does anyone know of this infamous Tuesday-Thursday at 1:30 tennis at SOH? Or is it just Radley?
*barfs McDonald's and Dreyer's **not really

Heh. So thiiiiiis is what's it's like to be usin' crutches.
Dunno how long this sprained ankle will last; the doc said at most a month; hopefully summer vacation won't end with me hobblin' round the house.
On a lighter note, I have discovered the taste of balsamic vinegar dressing today. Good stuff.

Ah well, there goes all 178 eps of Tennis no Oujisama. Good series; I hope they continue to make adaptations of the manga, which is still continuing.
My cold is in its last stage - just a mild cough; yet, it has persisted this way for 2 days now. Either way, I'm going back to work tomorrow; I hope I'll be well enough. I had a mug of half calamansi half water just now; my stomach's kind of unsettled right now; it's strong stuff.
Ok. Does anyone know of any places here in SD that sell ramen bowls the size of an xbox? Because I am terribly curious as to how the experience would be, taking something like that down.

Hey all. Just a quick reminder for this summer - stay safe and keep yourselves healthy. Cause being sick is teh fail. I hope I'll be better in time for Aizel's on Sunday, and after that too.

Even before this summer began, I was already thinking about all the things I'd do with my free time - guitar, drawing, and exercise among the lot of them. And guess what - I haven't made any real progress in anything I planned on doing, and it's because I'm trying to do everything at once. Gotta take one thing at a time. Now I have to decide what I'll focus on first.

I may have told some of you these dreams already, but here goes anyway.
/****/ I was at Plaza Bonita and was really hungry. So I walk into this shop and see this hueg rack of sub sandwiches. I asked the lady behind the counter how much it was for one sandwich. She said:
"It's $2.50 for the entire rack."
Me: o_o.......:D awesome!
I bought the whole thing and was carrying the rack around the mall. /****/
/****/ I was at some camp with a bunch of people I knew; who exactly I forgot. For whatever reason, in every different setting, I kept losing a piece of clothing. I was in some dining hall with no underwear. Then I was in front of a building with sandals and polo shirt. And nothing else. I'll stop here. /****/
/****/ i remember being in a niche between two white walls that spanned to infinity. There was a niche on the other wall. I was in a shopping cart, and it got launched across the pit between the two walls. I landed in the other wall's niche and there were green blobs bouncing on that side. I woke up. /****/
/****/ then there was that stupid dream where Kevin Sorbo was attacking me. Yes, the dude from the Hercules tv series. And Andromeda. *shakes head; I was on this pirate ship and I asked him if I could leave. He started laughing at me in an evil manner. He told me if I could get through this hueg maze where the walls were comprised of thorns, I could leave. So I tried, but the thorn wall caved in on me; I woke up. Stupid Kevin Sorbo. /****/
/****/ I remember being able to fly after taking the wings off of my Lego plane and flapping my arms while holding them. It lasted for like 5 seconds; then I couldn't fly anymore >=( /****/
/****/ I was able to rise into the air relatively high while on my bike. That's it. /****/
Alright I can't remember anymore.

At my job, Lines (Registers) 2-8 are what I like to refer to as No-Man's Land. Cause no man or woman is gonna make any gil there - they're too far away from where customers usually end their grocery shopping, which is usually at the bread section, on the opposite end of the store. Lines 10-12 are 'reliever' lines, meaning the cashier that's supposed to be there will only be there if they have free time; they have other responsibilities, but they 'relieve' that line if they can/want to. In other words, Lines 2-12 are made of fail and lose. Lines 24-25 are the express lines - 15 items or less. They are unreliable, because the frequency of customers that go there varies. There are 4 serve-yourself registers, which all baggers haet like loli haet pizza. Lines 13 and 14 are normal lines that usually result in good pay. It's the remaining Lines that are teh crazy.
My boss put me on crazy Line 15 today. Why is it crazy? Cause on this one, you don't have to push anyone out to their carts. So regardless if they tip your or not, you have another customer to try your luck on. But in order to maximize the amount of money you get, you have to go FAST on xbox-sized orders, by yourself, non-stoppu until the cashier takes a break. Which is like once every 5 hours.
I haev not been this worn-out in a while. But I teh reaped the rewards in the end.
I saw Big Mike (for those of you who know him by this name) today during my break. We argued about how Final Fantasy peaked at VII, fell at VIII, fell some more at IX, fell a great deal at X, fell on a spike at XI, and was left to die bleeding at XII and XIII. His favorite is IV (II in the States). I respect his choice. We also argued about fighting games. He and I both want to try out SF: 3rd Strike; we couldn't agree on favorites; mine is Guilty Gear, his is Marvel Vs. Capcom/Capcom vs. SNK/etc. Cool seeing him again; didn't know he worked at the same place I did.
Bought new courier bag for new school year. Close to beating Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Repliku Round 4 was a bish; Dark Aura eats up like 1/3 of your HP at Lv. 50.
And with that, I continue Tennis no Oujisama. G'nite.
